I’ve had a godaddy account for sometime, and I just downloaded the latest version of Wordpress. I attempted to install, following all of the directions, but when I get to the ‘wp-admin/install.php’ part, it says that a connection cannot be established with database. I have php and a new active mysql database, but its still not working. Any help?

You need to find out from godaddy what the HOSTNAME is. Did you use localhost if so that might not be right for the godaddy accounts.
