I personally will recommend you a web hosting which many people find it very reliable. It is hostmonster.
Before deciding to sign up hostmonster, read the reviews and stats about hostmonster at the following website.http://www.hostmonsterreview.co.uk

I've been with godaddy for a number of years. Competitive pricing. Good uptime (I've never found my site down). Good tech support (and I've asked some real winners.) I write my own code, so I can't comment on ease of use of their tools.

There is a lot to consider when choosing a host besides just bandwidth and file storage space (as I'm sure you know by now). I've also noticed that all the big companies (including the one I'm about to recommend) have their share of horror stories.
I can only say that I've been with mine (HostGator) for several years, have multiple websites with them (my own as well as those of my clients), have high-end content management software running, have bugged their tech support with some highly technical and hard-to-answer questions (I'm a software engineer) and they have ALWAYS been courteous and responsive. And hey, they're located in Texas, a state that has a fondness in my heart as it's where I went to school, and so that's always a winner in my book {grin}.
The reasons (features) why I like HostGator are also the same reasons that I would NOT recommend GoDaddy (except as a domain name registrar, perhaps). Things like CRON (scheduled tasks), location of the database server, and a few other issues. The details are here...http://www.hesitantrhino.com/build-your-…
