Honestly I don’t have any direct experience with your mentioned web hosts. But at present , one of my frirnds has some problems with hostgator and he is determined to transfer his domain to another hosting service after his account expiration.

"Between Hostgator And Godaddy Who Is Better. I Want To Buy Domain Plus Hosting Who To Choose?" was posted on Friday, June 26th, 2009 at 3:06 pm.
They are both competely overpriced! Why go with either of them??? Honestly, It is just not worth it to go with any one site without doing your research first on the vast field of web hosting. You should consider going to http://www.webhostgumbo.com … There you can view an up to date pricing and incentives comparison chart for the top 2008 web hosting companies, starting at $3.96 per month with free for life domain names. Plus HostGumbo contributes $25 (cash in your pocket) to the cost of your hosting plan when you choose your web host.
I use http://www.discountdomainregistry.com, they have a hosting division named successful hosting. It is around $7 a month with a 12 month contract. Otherwise i would go for Godaddy they are very professional.
Between those two I’d say use HostGator – GoDaddy hosting is way overpriced and none of the “extras” are as important as being able to host as many domains as you want.
I would however suggest waiting for whenever Dreamhost runs their next deal. They’ve had at least 5 deals this year so far where you can get a domain AND a year of hosting comparable to HostGators plans for a total of only about $10…can’t beat it. I have been using them for over 2 years and while they did have kind of a rough period about a year and a half ago, they’ve been flawless since then.

I’ve been with Hostgator for 2 years and have had excellent service. Any issue has been resolved immediately.
If you do not go with Host Gator, try Order Your Domain…

Hostgator for sure, Godaddy is a joke.
Godaddy has a horrible panel and the most horrid site ever. Although they do have phone support for the very basic accounts.
Go with GoGater, there very reliable. I use them to host one of my fan sites and after two years of hosting the site has only been down for 5 minutes max.
