Is it possible to make my dedicated godaddy server into a Flash Media Server? I plan on using Fedora Core 7 with Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5..

    On Godaddy’s dedicated server plan, you need to take the Plesk option to be able to install some extra software. Even then, Adobe Flash Media Server is NOT included in the “Application Pack”.

    They claim you have the ability to compile and install any software you need in your HOME directory. If you think their managed dedicated server is expensive, good news – you don’t even need a dedicated server plan to install your own software!
