I lease a few domain names from godaddy.com and have them parked on sedo.com. Can I sell these domain names on their website or on a similar one? I guess more specifically: Do I have the right to sell them, or is the selling section of the sedo site only for people who actually own their domains, not just lease them?

Yes you can! just join Go Daddy auctions on they web site, it costs around 4.99 a year, and you can bid buy and sell your domains.

First of all you cant say that you have leased those domains from godaddy because godaddy doesnt give domains for lease. You are owner of those domains and you have rights to sell, lease or transfer your domains to anyone else. You can sell those domains on godaddy itself ( https://auctions.godaddy.com ), sedo or on some webmaster forums ( like dnforum.com, namepros.com etc. ). You can also park your domains to generate good revenue. I suggest whypark ( http://www.reviewlocator.com/reviews/why… ) to cultivate your domains with relevant content. Google Adsense for domains is also a good option for domain parking if your domains have good traffic.
In case if you have leased the domains from any person then you dont have right to sell it but godaddy does not lease domains.
Lease – No
Only if you own them.
You might be able to buy them. Then you could sell them.
Think of it like a lease car. You can’t sell it because it does not belong to you.
You could probably sell the account its on. Although this would be risky and probably illegal.
Of course you can. That’s even a profession for some people. There’s some marketplace you can found to sell them like this one http://www.thednforum.com
I lease a house from a company. Can I sell that house?
