Quite a few free webhosts allow you to use your own domain name. My favorite is http://www.Freebeehosting.com
You can find a pretty decent list of free hosts and what features they include at http://www.free-webhosts.com
You will need to purchase a domain from an accredited registrar and then update the dns servers according to the host you settle on. http://www.GoDaddy.com usually has the best registration rates on the net (I wouldn’t recommend their hosting though, it’s crap)
I recommend http://www.xona1.com (free web hosting)
They offer:
1500 MB Disk Space
100,000 MB Bandwidth
Free Subdomain or Your Own Domain (5)
Automated Scripts Installer (20 Popular Scripts -WordPress, Joomla-)
FTP Access and Web Based File Manager
Easy to use Website Builder
5 MySQL Databases with Full PHP Support
No advertising
Inmediate activation
Regards
yes, if your free hosting have Name servers you can use it. Optionally you can use blogger.com, if you have any doubts with domain name take a look at http://www.new.us
Ever heard of Office Live Small Business? You get your free .com and free web hosting. You can also host ads as well.
