i have started a business and i want to create a domain name for my new web site i plan to open but it look like some has it in Australia can i use it for here in the usa? or do i have to create another one?

    Yes you can as long as the .com domain is not taken. Check it from my hosting company’s domain checker.

    No, the Internet is worldwide, so only one person can have the same domain. Find something that still works for you that isn’t already taken.
    If two sites had the same name, there would be no way to determine which to send somebody to when they keyed it in. But if they have a different set of letters after the dot (like you had .com and they had .somethingelse, those would be different so would be OK.
