I saw that GoDaddy.com has a reselling program reselling domain names. Does anyone have experience doing this? Can money be made. I don’t want to devote my time entirely to this but I would like to earn some extra income. Does anyone know of any leads that may help me learn more about how to resell domain names?

yes, if you buy a domain that is already very popular, by people visiting it, and you are advertising or selling something new they will look and hopefully buy from you..
and if that site has good reputation, the hard part of people trusting a site is already their so you do not have to built your own reputaion
Reselling domains is not that hard. I don’t know how the people who sell them for thousands do it, but I have sold many for hundreds which I bought a month or 2 before for only $8. Here is the steps that will help you learn this kind of stuff http://www.richkits.com/domains
The best deal I ever made on a domain was when I sold one for $190 the same day I bought it. That was last month. Here is an article from jacksonville news about a lady who makes her living doing this so it may give you some ideas as well http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/local…
Buying domains that are already established and created is usually more profitable, but I have always registered them brand new. I just think of creative names that I think someone would want and my goal is usually just to sell them for about 20-30 dollars each but many times the auction gets much higher than that. The most profitable domains I ever had were all my 4 letter .com’s. I bought them about 6 months ago (about 20 of them) for $8 each and sold them all this month and none of them sold for less than $40 each, so it was a very good investment. I’ve bought a large amount of 4 letter .nets now as well because I think they will become valuable when they all run out as well, though it may just be wishful thinking.
