Can You Override Ftp?

Category: FAQ   Time: 2010-01-04   Tags:

last year I made a website for someone but now he wants to change it. I have the original files, but cannot get into the FTP because he forgot his password. Is there anyway to override this or reset it? The website is hosted at godaddy.com but I cant find a way to edit the files from there either. Is there anyway to edit directly from godaddy or override the FTP. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Godaddy might have some sort of a password reset form on their site. But there can be no way to just override FTP password. Otherwise everybody would just “override” everybody’s passwords. You might want to contact godaddy for help.

Go Daddy will have to login to the Cpanel of the server and reset your password or this might be accessible from your account…
