Cant Upload Files To Godaddy Server Using Dreamweaver?

i know there are other ways to do it but why cant i upload my website using dreamweaver CS3?
whenever i try, and then i go to godaddy.com, none of my newly uploaded files are there yet i get a confirmation it was successful with dreamweaver.

    You’re probably uploading the files to a subdirectory. Make sure in your site profile you are sending the files to the proper directory.

    Are you sure that the server details are correct in Dreamweaver? You may be uploading them to somewhere on your own computer.
