Changing Header(font/size/position) On Wordpress?

Category: FAQ   Time: 2009-07-17   Tags: , ,

I have a hosting through bluehost.com, and installed wordpress app on my homepage. I chose a custom theme on the site called Green Light. The problem is the Blog Title and Tagline. I want to be able to change the size, color and position of these two because the default is straining on the eye.
Thank You.
P.S. I know the answer is not on my Administrative toolbar. And please do not refer me to other blogging software.

WordPress themes are written with a CSS file, so that’s where you need to make the change.
    1) In your admin: goto DESIGN – THEME EDITOR
    2) Click on Stylesheet or Style.css on the right
    3) Look for the H1 and H2 in the code and change the font size.
Most themes wrap the titles in H1 and the tagline in H2.
