Do I Have To Buy A Domain In Order To Upload My Work From Dreamweaver? ?

I have a big problem on my hands. Some help would be greatly appreciated. 10 points for the person who clearly answers my question.
I am currently using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to construct a website. The problem is, I don’t know if I have to own a domain, and then upload my work from Dreamweaver to my domain… I don’t even know if that possible! What I plan on doing is buying a domain from GoDaddy (I believe GoDaddy comes accompanied with a basic sitebuilder program). What I plan to do is construct my entire website with Dreamweaver and Flash and then when I am finished with the final product in Dreamweaver, I will upload it to the GoDaddy Sitebuilder program. After it is uploaded to the GoDaddy sitebuilder, I am planning on uploading it to the web.
My question to all of you is that if this is all possible. Do I need to buy a domain in order to upload my work from Dreamweaver to the web?
I could really use and would appreciate the help!

To make a website you need a domain and webhosting. The best way to buy a domain for free is to purchase your domain and webhosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some webhosting companies offer this as a gift . I am using bluehost webhosting for minehttp://www.bluehost.com/track/bluehostwe…

you have to buy or hire a domain name and register it with the correct authorities in you country, that is the name of your website. Then you need server space to put you site on, like go daddy. You pay for server space, pending what your putting on your website. FileZilla is a good FTP program for uploading from hard drive to server, it is basically click n drag or copy n paste if you going for initial upload

Missing a few steps there, and you seem to have one just thrown in there for the heckofit. No biggie, we all had to start somewhere.
Along with your domain, you will need hosting. I’ve talked to dozens of people here on Yahoo Answers who paid 10 bucks for a domain and had no idea where to put their site. You need a host as well, and that will start at around 100 per year, and at that price you will get everything you need. Also, I’d suggest Bluehost or Hostgator over GoDaddy for hosting. Both are cheaper and give you a LOT more. Also, you can get a domain through them to make things easier…same price as godaddy for domains.
Now, as far as constructing in Dreamweaver, good idea. From there, you will set up an FTP connection in Dreamweaver. You can do this when you make a new site in DW. You will need to get the host going first, so you have the settings to make it happen.
I would ditch the sitebuilder idea. It’s not something you need, and it will likely cause you problems. Once your site is built in DW, all you have to do is FTP it and it will be on the server for all to view.
There are plenty of resources out there for you, and you will likely need them. Getting a site online can be a bit of a chore when you do it for the first time.

You need a web host compatible with dreamweaver.
As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.
If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.
One of these services is reachable at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. Their service is really great and easy to use.
This service is compatible with dreamweaver.
