Yes, you need a GOOD domain name!
A good domain name must be descriptive of your services and easy to remember.
Do some keyword research to find out what words or phrases people are typing into the search engines when looking for wedding planners.
The Google keyword tool is a good place to start and it’s free. https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor…
This will give you a list of potential keywords. Try to incorporate them into your name.
Being a local business also consider using your city’s name in your name; ( yourcityweddingplanners.com )
You can also set up a website on Yahoo (geocities), or webpages on google.
No, not really. I used to have an online business and used http://www.serve.com/ “Datarealm”. First set up what type of site you are going to make and how much space and bandwidth you will need. After completing this process you will be given a DNS # which is like http://207.985.26.27 or what ever and that will be you actual address. Once you decide what to name your company or business they can do it for you as long as the name isn’t already taken.
I used this company for about 8 years and they are very reliable and have reasonable rates. Good luck with your venture.
