but do i need to buy a server which is like 1000 bucks or

No, don’t buy a server.
Go with GoDaddy or any other trusted hosting provider. You could get away with paying $10/month or less if you can make due with a shared server. If you need more control over the box, then you can move up to a virtual server for around $50/month
Shared hosting is good enough for blogging. Make sure your host has cpanel host since it’s easy to use
