You’re fine without it. While it’s true that it is a search factor, it is a very minor one. It’s really only important for people who are linking to their own sites from their other sites.

Bluehost does offer a dedicated IP for an additional fee. But, to answer your question, no you are not at a disadvantage without a dedicated IP. Not as long as you are not trying to get good listing from within a sub-domain on your site.
