No, you do not need to purchase a domain name to own a blog.
A website can have any content while a blog is basically a website for personal input, something like a journal. Although it is fairly easy to manipulate your blog to act as a website instead. And yes, you can have videos and music etc on a blog.
A website is just a site on the internet, a blog is a specific kind of website that’s meant for daily entries in the same way that Food is stuff you eat, and a hamburger is a kind of food.
You don’t need a domain name to have a blog, there are many websites like Livejournal, Vox, Wordpress.com, and the like that will host your site for free.
And yes, you can have video and other media on a blog, not just text, and if you’re going for that, then I’d reccomend Vox.com
no,you don’t have to.
you can have weblog free from websites like blogger.com
for sites, you should know how to design a websites.but for weblog no.
