Don’t try it don’t even think about. Buye beware..I fell for it and didn’t read the fine print..When filing taxes don’t get the card that hey offer for YOUR tax return. It is a bunch of red tape getting YOUR money.

    If you put the transaction through as a credit (or signature) charge then it doesnt charge you. It charges .50 for every debit (pin) transaction

    Last year I had used HR Block and had refund put on the Emerald Card, I too was being charged for every transaction I did. Since the Emerald card had a MasterCard logo I was able to transfer my remaining balance into my own checking account as a cash advance from the Emerald card with no charge at all.
