The steps to renew an account and get your discount are as follows;
1) Save all emails and other web content that is currently hosted
by dreamhost as this will be deleted when you close your account.
2) Close your existing account at Dreamhost :
a) Login to your WebPanel and
b) Go to Billing > Manage Account
c) Click on your hosting plan and select “close this account”
3) Click to https://signup.dreamhost.com/ sign up using the promo
code RENEW
NOTE: You are not closing your whole account, just terminating your
current hosting plan. This means that you will still have access to,
and be able to renew any existing domain names.
