EVIL hahaha im sure thats some creationist way of thinking that the devil has done something….. evolution happens if humans are not present as evidence shows therefore evil is a human characteristic SO NO.
To play Devil’s advocate… the idea of evil itself is what? I think that’s where you can begin to determine your answer. If you look at evil as the destruction of other things, then that gets you a bit closer.
Something destroying other things (maybe inherently evil?), such as medicine taking out a bacteria, could be considered a way to speed up evolution because the bacteria will mutate in order to survive.
The idea of being evil is human, sure… but the act of being “evil” isn’t human. If that makes sense. I’d have to say it does and doesn’t speed up evolution.
Sorry if that’s confusing.
How can a human concept do anything effective to a biological process. Evil, sin, soul, devil are all concepts. They do not really exist. You have to believe a soul exist or that there is such a thing as sin. Certainly no belief, no sin, no evil ever effected evolution.
Mr. Cooljmans article is full of inconsistencies, mistaken connections and just plain lies. Have not a clue who or what he is and don’t care to know.
“An inferior is a person who drags society and mankind down and should better not exist”
Would not an inferior be one that wishes others not to exist? You see the logic flaw? Much he has written is illogical and irrational.
No. It is as likely to impede it. The author leaves too much to the imagination. Evolution is amoral, and it probably tends as much towards inertia (fitting a niche and not abandoning it) as it does entropy (developing new traits for the hell of it.).
Also, the article doesn’t really say anything about “speeding up” evolution. It suggests that it might help fuel it, and no more.
Evil does not spreed up evolution however it would be funny to say so. There is evidence of evolution over time with animals adapting to different enviorments. Kind of like how we adapt to hide our cells or iPods during class so the teachers don’t catch us using them I really sucked at doing that….that was a lame attempt to relate two different topics….
What a cool question I’m 25 a fairly nice guy done some stupid stuff but that in it self is what we have to take out of the equation “stupidity” . If you ask that question so you could get close to understanding time you are on the right path. Rather, since time cant be speed up I suppose evil would speed up evolution. On the other hand …
No! Evil is just a human value judgment, not a biological concept. The pace of evolution has varied before the human species invented the term. Thus, evil, per se, could have nothing to do with evolution.
nope! coz evolution is not 4 real.,
