I have a godaddy.com account and I am very happy with it. You can write your own html and upload it with FTP. You can also learn to program in PHP and make dynamic web pages. They even give you access to an MySQL database to store your data. I have had other hosting companies but godaddy is the best I have ever worked with. Most importantly, they don’t try to tell you what you can and cannot put on your website as some providers do.
