DreamHost is definately the best out of them three in my opinion.
The other two have known to have some issues that DreamHost doesn’t have.
BlueHost is slightly more expensive for the exact same features as HostMonster, but HostMonster is the sister of another company who have a reputation for being unreliable.
I really do think DreamHost is perhaps the best host out there for most things.

I am currently using Bluehost and Dreamhost – and I like them both for different reasons and different purposes.
HostMonster is basically Bluehost under another name, so its kind of just the same.
Now, just because I’ve had a good experience doesn’t mean you will!
These hosts have hundreds of machines hooked up, and each one is going to deliver a slightly different user experience. Of course, they try to keep the load on each server balanced, but what happens if one of your neighbors gets a huge burst of traffic one day?
This is all pretty standard in shared hosting – and these are some of the top quality hosts from the research I’ve done.

Bluehost is a bit pricier, but I’ve personally seen it handle social bookmark bursts of 10,000 visits in a day. I simply don’t know if Dreamhost could handle that because I’ve never got that much sudden traffic to my Dreamhost account.

They are all very good hosts, but they are very large and have many users on their servers and oversell very much.
I would recommend going with something like http://hoston.us
They are cheap and reliable and they don’t oversell their bandwidth and space.
