ok i have an economy account with godaddy, but i still have ads on my site. Why is that? I thought ads only came with free domains?

With some hosting company if you get there special, where you pay for the domain and the hosting is free, somewhere in the TOS it will say they can put ads there.
But no one here can tell you for sure, unless you let us take a look at your website to see if the ad’s are from godaddy, or maybe even from something else you may have put onto your website.

Do you build your website? If someone designed it for you they may have slipped ads in there for their own benefit.
