I have a domain with Godaddy. I’ve used a wildcard to redirect the DNS to a IP address. EVERYTHING WORKS BUT NO WWW.
Example:
dsdsd.domain.com
dsdsdsad32.domain.com
lol.this.would.work.2.domain.com
All them work
but simple
domain.com doesn’t.
How do i fix this?

Sorry not to help, but GoDaddy sucks when it comes to DNS stuff. You have to call them or email tech support; if it’s through them there’s not much you can do abou it.
Try this, Go to Control Panel.Performance+Maintenance, Administrative Tools. Services. Look for the DNS Client. See if it is started Automatic. If not then Right click it, properties, Then start automatic. You will see a start box at the bottom left. Hit it and it should start. Apply then ok it.
Your question doesn’t match your description.
If http://www.domain.com doesn’t work (which is what your subject indicates), have you added the A record for www?
If, as the “content” of your question indicates, what doesn’t work is typing domain.com and you don’t get your website, well you need to add an A record for the domain itself.
BTW, pointing a domain at an IP address (which is what an A record is) is not really a good practice. People do it, but it’s non-RFC compliant . . . .
You would be better off changing to another service. try checking at http://www.toast.net . there are several good ones there. Some of my friends use 1to1 and are happy. I am tranfering mine shortley.
