http://www.hostingscorecard.com tracks the reputation of web hosts and ranks them based on a minimum of 1000 user reviews/comments over the last 6 months.
Yahoo is not on the list because they do not meet our listing criterion. 1and1 and lunarpages are on the list along with 80 others so there are still many to chose from.

i’d recommend Hostgator for it is more reliable than others.
after running with hostgator for a few months and had zero downtime and the forum and blog and email have been very fast. We’re sure that hostgator is very fast and stable web hosting provider.
You may read some reviews, user feedback, and speed test here:http://www.hostgator-review-coupon.org/
You can also get some coupon code to save money.
Good luck with your Host Hunt
I use Vodahost and have been very happy with them. I pay $95 yearly but you can also pay monthly. Another good one that I’ve been checking into is Hostgator. They have plans that start as low as $4.95 monthly with no contracts.
http://www.godaddy.com i use them for everything, their prices are a little higher than some, but its well worth the extra for the great customer service you get.
you can email, phone or fax them 24/7 and you get a speedy response.
I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/
Powweb has the best offer right now. It’s on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them. (like http://www.mywebsite.com)
Their hosting plan includes web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.
I just switched to http://www.Fiber9.com
They are pretty great so far, my sites very fast and the domain name only cost 99 cents, cant go wrong with that.
