I published my Girl Scout troop’s webpage last week, and it still isn’t online. They said the problem was that I was directing my traffic to their domain park servers. I did what they asked me to, and after 48hrs my site still isn’t open for the public to view. What should I do, and has anyone ever been ripped of by godaddy?

I use them and I’ve never had any problems like that. I did think that they are a bare bones hosting company, but that’s why you don’t pay that much. More features would be nice.
Make sure the domain name servers are the correct ones they tell you and that should fix it. It does take close to 24 hours for the domain name to resolve itself.
GODaddy are a bunch of wankers…They’re constantly in the middle of a crisis….I build websites and when clients ask what hosting company to go with i always say NETWORK SOLUTIONS…24/7 customer support and tons of difrent pacckages…I sound like a commercial but they’re just that good..
No never. My website worked after 48 hours.
I haven’t had any problems with them, but the directions can seem confusing. Call them and speak with them about it.
