This is a standard walkthrough. However, what I do, is in the “site” or where it says “host” just put your hosting IP in there (which you can find in your hosting account). Also, make sure “passive mode” or “passive ftp” is selected when uploading. If this still doesn’t work, please feel free to contact me since I work for em anyways.

Contact godaddy and find out your exact settings. Settings vary on servers, so it’s best to go directly to the source.
