You didnt specify if it was a website domain name or an Email domain name so here are the instructions for both:
To cancel your Yahoo! GeoCities plan:
Sign in to your GeoCities Control Panel.
Click the “Manage My Services” button in the upper-right corner of the page, then choose “My Services.”
Click the “Cancel Plan” link under the plan you want to cancel.
Follow the instructions to cancel your plan.
Please note that your account will move to a dormant state when you cancel your plan. After you cancel, you will no longer be able to access your web site files, emails, control panels, and any other tools provided with your plan.
We strongly recommend saving copies of all of your files, including your web pages and emails, to your own computer before you cancel.
If you just want to cancel your Yahoo! Mail Personal Address service, you can do so at any time. Here’s how:
Click “Options” in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page.
Click “Upgrades” in the upper-right corner.
Click the “Change Billing Options” link below the service you would like to cancel.
