Yes, I have hosting and a domain.
That’s not what I’m worried about.
I have already coded my own layout but I don’t know where to go to put it up.
My host is godaddy.com
…if that helps..(:

You need their generic Web site hosting package to do this, NOT the Web Site Tonight package. Assuming you have the generic Web hosting package, follow the instructions for uploading your own files:http://help.godaddy.com/article/96
If you are using Web Site Tonight or another canned layout hosting package (such as certain eCommerce plans), you need to contact customer service to have your hosting changed to regular Web hosting. A Unix plan will work for most people.
You’ll need your hosting account username and password. If you don’t know it, login to godaddy and retreive it.
To upload the files to your hosting account you’ll need some software to transfer files. A free program that works well is WinSCP at http://winscp.net
Run winscp, enter in your domain name for the host, then enter your username and password and connect. Once connected, the left side displays the files on your computer, and the right side is the files on the hosting account.
To move your website to the hosting account, simply drag the files over to the right side.
This is done using FTP (file transfer protocol)
You need to know your FTP host (usually http://ftp.yourdomain), username (usually your domain) and password (usually your controlpanel password).
Then you need to use an FTP client. If you are a Windows user then you can use the one included in Windows Explorer (type ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com into the address bar) but I would recommend Filezilla…http://filezilla-project.org/
