Go to a domain registrar such as
GoDaddy http://www.godaddy.com
Network Solutions http://www.networksolutions.com
Yahoo Domains http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/
Choose an available domain name
Pay for the domain name – you can pay for 1 year or up to 10 years
You now have a domain name for your business
Not recommend with yahoo. They are outsourcing their domain service to an Australian company which is very hard to deal with when you want to get out.
I had bad experience with then when I close my store on yahoo small business merchant hosting. I close the account with yahoo quick, but I could not get my domain transfered for 3 weeks.
I use godaddy.com for my domain registration only. Their shared hosting is not stable.
