I plan to develop my own website using Dreamweaver and want to use godaddy.com to get it onto the internet but have never done that before. Any tips you can give me?

When you sign up for an account at godaddy, you can find all the information you need there on how to upload your site. Their help system is pretty good.
When you define your site in Dreamweaver go to the advanced tab. Click on remote info, and you will see all the information that is required. Find the requested information on godaddy, and you will be able to upload your site directly from Dreamweaver.
