now you need exposure your URL needs to be on some of the top search engines, i believe that’s a pay service. refreshing this on their sites will keep your domain on the top of their list.lets face it when someone does a search they click on the URL”S at the top of the list that’s where you get exposure GOOD LUCK

There are 3 ways you can get to help your search rankings in Google, which let’s face it, is only one that really matters.
    1. Pay for it, you can set up an account with Google Adwords, this way, whenever someone types in your desired keywords, it will come up on the right or the top in yellow. This can cost a LOT and can run into several thousand for the year.
    2. Get loads of other important websites to link to you, google sees this and decides that, if other reputable websites link to you and they’re important, then you’re important.
    3. Put the relevant keywords into your website at strategic locations, sit back, and hope!
There’s a very good book called SEO Made Easy that you may want to get hold of, i forget the author. (Search Engine Optimization)
If you’re determined to go for the keywords ‘Digital Photography’ you should know that you’re up against some very established sites. If you’re going to take option 1 above then be prepared to pay some serious money for AdWords.
A quick look on Google for Digital Photography brings up 45,000,000 results. Let’s say 40,000,000 are rubbish or repeating links, that’s still 5,000,000 websites you need to beat to get to the top.
Also as you rise up in the search results you need to remember that every time you go up 1, someone else goes down 1 and they will do their hardest to get back to where they were.
Your website needs be clear, comprehensive and be very important to make it high enough to count.
SEO is a very expensive business. SEO companies are popping up all over the place with the guarantee that you make it on the first page of Google. Everyone’s got a website these days and now everyone wants to be on page 1 so it basically goes to highest bidder.

  5. Who Dares Wins(2009-10-03):

Make sure your meta tags & title include digital photography. Get your site indexed for free on Google and sit back and wait the normal 3 months. If you can’t wait pay.
