I just bought a website on GoDaddy.com and have no idea how to get it to redirect it to another website.
The purpose of this website was to take the name to redirect it to a different website which i have no idea how to do. Can anyone help me?

If you already have a webhost they should have given you two Nameservers. Type these nameservers in your godaddy account under Domain Management. Expect to wait a day or two for your website to appear online.
The domain is Parked by default. You need to click on My Domains and use the Total DNS control tool to change the IP address to your server.
Log into your domain manager. Choose the domain you wish to forward and its information page will load. One of the options at the top will be ‘forwarding’. Click on that icon and a popup window will load and you can fill in the information of the site you wish the domain to redirect to.
I believe in CPanel there is a place to create redirects.
