We have a domain name for our email addresses that is personalized. The guy who set up the domain name, never gave us the password and is not in business anymore. I need to transfer the domain name as it is about to expire. We have to keep this domain name as it is for our business, Does anyone have any ideas how we can transfer the domain name without the password?? Please help!! Thank you!

You need to contact the registrar, possibly the same company that is hosting it now. Tell them that the person who originally registered the domain is no longer with the company (as if they are one of your employees) and you need to change the contact info to your own.
Edit: The company you worked with might be out of business – but there is still a registrar holding the domain. They are who you want to contact.
I’ll do some specific research related to your domain if you want – click on my picture and shoot me an email.
