To purchase a domain name, it will run you about $10 give or take depending on where you buy the domain from.
As for hosting, this is where the cost will start varying vastly. It can be as cheap as $4 a month, all the way to hundreds. Usually the more you pay the more features and support your server will have, as well as bandwidth available for use.https://www.godaddy.com has a lot of information on the subject, as well as pricing available for each service you arer interested in.
I’ve had some bad experiences with godaddy in the past, but others swear by them.

I’d say it costs like $20 to rent a domain name for a year and like $4 a month to host your name.
you can build one for free by yourself.
A domain name(Usuley) costs about 40 USD a year, And then hosting the domain will cost anywhere from 50-175 USD. And if you dont know a Computer Programing Languare(Php, C++, Flash/JAVA exctra) you most likley will have to hire one, They cost anywhere from 50-1000 USD depending on diffrent things.
Over all a bar minimum of it will be about: 200 USD
A Maximum could be as much as: 10,000 USD
