Hi, I have a problem in that I want to use a URL that I own, but point it to a different site. Unfortunately GoDaddy the registrar is most unhelpful in helping me to change the NS1 and NS2 address, because of their over the top security. I wouldnt have a clue what the hell my Login in or password was so long ago and without this I cannot get anywhere, but I have heard that redirect software is available? can anyone please advise me?
Regards
Leslie

You will have to first prove that you are the legal owner of the site this can easily be done even if you have forgotten username and password if you are the owner listed when you do a whois lookup of the domain name. After you get access again you just put a refresh command in the head area of your html to redirect to whatever site you want some registrars have advanced DNS options where you can just set the redirect there but the main thing is to get access to your site so you can make these changes unless you first do this you are pretty much “Dead in the Water”
