i created a contact form for my website and it has a php file with it to send the information to my email. i have godaddy windows hosting they said to use mysql but every time i try to upload the file i always get an error message. its just one small file php file do i have to use mysql? if so how do i do it im so lost.

You sure are lost and you sure need help but your question is almost impossible to answer in the space we have here. I’m sure the GoDaddy hosting service will have a forum where people who use the same hosting service can help you. I know it’s hard to understand, but every service does things differently. I consider myself quite proficient on uploading stuff to hosting services because I actually run one. However, today I had to post a question in a forum because I didn’t know the answer to something. When asking questions a complex as yours, you should always go to the best source. This is not the place unless you’re lucky enough to befriended by another Godaddy user. My advice is to go to the Godaddy forum, tell them the name of the script and ask for help. If your were using my free hosting service, I would be only too happy to help you to get your script running – so should the folks at Godaddy.
