I bought a very good domain for $10 on ebay. I knew there was something wrong. But for $10 I wasn’t really thinking. The bidding had ended and I was the winning bidder. When i checked the domain on google, I found out the domain was blacklisted. The list was January 2007.
The url is http://www.revbeergoggles.com/spamme…s/bloss-ip.txt
and a couple other similar type of websites.
What can I do? When the ban is gonna be lifted? Am I supposed to report to somebody to lift the ban?
Does this mean I’m not gonna be indexed by search engines? Does this mean I’m not gonna be able to send emails because most email providers block my domain?
I haven’t paid for the domain yet. I really like the domain. What can I do? Please helpp..
I checked the domain on whois.domaintools.com, it says
Response Code: 200
Blacklist Status: Clear
Domain Status: Registered And Active Website
The domain is hosted on godaddy.com. Do I need to contact godaddy and tell them the problem?
