I Just Bought A Domain On Godaddy, But How Do I Start Editing My Site? I Can’t Find An Ftp Or Anything…?

Just buy hosting without entering the domain name.
Then in your hosting control panel add a domain name you already purchased. Upon doing so, you’ll be prompted for the “directory” that will act as “root” for that specific domain. Then you can just start editing your site either through a web builder or you can upload your files to that folder you created. You can name the folder anything you want, but I recommend to name it after the domain name, like something.com so it’s easier to keep it organized.
If you choose the Deluxe plan, you can host more sites on a single plan, so you can add a couple more domains later on. For example you can get a different domain name with hosting (a discounted one for $1.99) and host both of them right away.
P.S. You can get a 20% discount from Godaddy on any shared hosting plan. Just use a coupon code from http://www.hosttell.com on checkout.

As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.
If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.
As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

Did you just purchase a domain or did you also buy a web hosting account? You’ll need a web hosting account in order to add pages to your website. You should be able to get that through GoDaddy.

did you pay for hosting, you gotta pay for hosting not just a domain name.

You need to buy hosting separately. It’s a monthly fee starting around $3
