Google freelance web designers. You’ll get sites like iFreelance where you can post your project and have people bid on it.
If your looking for something more advanced but still user friendly then try Site Builder Designs, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration or transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Site Builder Design Store features include Paypal as an easy to use e-commerce solution, all you need is your Paypal I.D. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.
Um.. I had the same problem, but I used Blogger’s free blog service, and I’m just fine. You can fix Blogger up anyway you like it so where it doesn’t look like some cheap-o blog. It’ll look like a website and not the “BLOGGER” look. It’s fully customizeable. And if you don’t like it, just delete your blog, and move somewhere else. That’s what I’m doing.. I ain’t got lots of money, and this works just fine for me. I love it! GOOD LUCK! =D
If you use Windows, Notepad is the “cheapest” way to design a web site – it’s already on your computer. Any other “place” means hiring a web development company, and the cheapest ones aren’t cheap.
The best one I have used is http://www.vistasites.net
Builds the site in a few minutes and very easy to update and custom build if you choose. Has a complete ecomm intergratd in it as well
Good luck!
