I Need An Excellent Site Builder. No Html Experience. Page Wizard And Site Builder Dont Work For Me.?

Category: FAQ   Time: 2009-06-27   Tags: , , , , , ,

Ok. I signed up with hostgator.com but was very frustrated. The price was good, and it had good reviews, but certain things required html experience. If i chose a custom page i would have to know html to change its name from “custom page”, which i obviously didnt want, to something like “reviews.” Also, for the banner i would have to know html. I dont even need a banner, really, just a space for a logo.
I just want a page builder, no html, as simple as possible, but not boring either (though at this point boring would be ok, long as i can use it). IXwebhosting has the same site builder as host gator. I am now considering yahoo. I am willing to pay as much as twenty dollars a month, though i saw yahoo was cheaper than that. Hope someone can read all that and help me. Also, I want it to be reliable, price isnt a concern at this point, just tell me the site with the best templates and easy to use for someone who doesnt know html. Thanks in advance.

Yahoo! Geocities is probably the best one out if you don’t want to know HTML code. However, HTML is like the DNA of a site, you should familiarize yourself with it. It would be best to learn it so you can make really nice sites. If you completely prefer not to don’t worry you still can make good sites. Depending on how crazy you want of a site may mean it might cost a small sum. Marcomedia Flash is a great tool for website design, and you need to know almost no code at all. However it is very expensive, but you don’t need to know HTML. If you have a tight budget than you can always use a GIF animator, although its more a pain to make graphics with, it works. See links below.
Hope this all helps! Happy Building! 8)

You should do your homeworks before ordering contract with web hosting service.
I personally a good computer technician with some basic HTML programming skill and have seen newbies quiting because they are fustrated with website design even using the website builder.
You should go along with One and One web hosting in a MS hosting package. They will offer you the website builder that you need not to mentions the form and database creator.
According to the Computer World magazine, they are 1# web hosting service provider above GoDaddy and Yahoo.
Send me an e-mail and I will give a referral link to the company.

you might like NVU. its free and pretty simple. a little html coding knowledge would help but is definitely not necessary. and if you need help with html you can try the w3schools website. it has html code and editing tutorials. anyways NVU is free and pretty good. it has a wysiwyg(what you see is what you get) editing style, html editing style, and html tags editing style, and a preview. it is pretty much suitable for any user experience level.http://www.w3schools.com/http://www.nvu.com/index.php

Are you talking about the title that appears on the top blue bar of Internet Explorer? If so, the fix is very simple. In the HTML coding, you should see something like this near the top:

What you want to do is change the “custom page” to “reviews” or whatever you want to call your web page. Leave the rest of it the way it is and definitely don’t get rid of any of the brackets. Good luck!
