I only know basic HTML, not CSS. Does anyone have any tips of what I can do to make my school website more professional looking? Also, I need to display photos, is there a JavaScript program or something that can help me so I don’t have to make a really crappy setup.
I will be using GoDaddy Services, they had the most affordable cost for the stuff I need.

You can use a slideshow script for the images or upload all the images to PhotoBucket and use their really nice photo album or slideshow maker. Then just copy the code onto your page.
Or you can make nice photo albums with different skins using the free software at JAlbum and upload them to your site.http://jalbum.net/

try using a CMS like wordpress, cos it will help your site be more organised and itll be easier to update. Wordpress also has downloadable plug-ins to allow for photo slideshows. You can also do a google for flash image galleries, some of which look very professional.

find yourself a good “CMS” i use phpnuke, its basically a website already made with powerful features like forum, gallery, news management and more. They come with detail installation instruction and a support forums if you get stuck!! it will save you days of work!!!

I don’t know very much about this stuff.. but I know you can register on PhotoBucket and upload pictures for free and they give you the codes for websites, blogs and such. Hope that helps!
