I Need My Own Website, Where Should I Get It From??

Category: FAQ   Time: 2009-11-14   Tags: , , , ,

I’m a graphic designer, and in this day and age, employers would rather have you give them a URL to view your portfolio, rather than a huge, akward print portfolio. I know there are places such as godaddy.com where you can register your own .com name for around $8.95/year. I am just curious if anyone in the creative field has any suggestions? Thanks

http://www.deviantart.com is a really cool, easy to use art comunity. that you can post all of your work on (with watermarks, provided by you, or they will put a deviantArt watermark on it for you if you want) I’ve used it for 4 years now and I love it. And it’s free too, but you can always pay a premium subscription price to make your work prints and other bonuses.
