A domain name is just that — a name. It’s like reserving a space on Main Street, but it is not enough to give you the business you need because it is just a name reservation.
Your next step is to find a web hosting company who will host your web site for you. You can use web hosting review sites to check out various web hosting companies. Your selection will depend on what you need exactly — will you just put up an online brochure about your business, or will you do an online store (called ecommerce). Here are some web hosting review siteshttp://reviews.cnet.com/Web_hosting/2001…http://www.findmyhost.com/
Once you’ve found a web host, then you need to start creating a web site. Some web hosts offer easy tools to help you design and create a site. Or you can hire a web site designer to do it for you.
Once you’ve got a website, you will send it to your web host to host the site in the domain you have purchased from GoDaddy.com. It’s not because you bought a domain that you can already start your business — you have to spend more to get something up on the web.
I would call your government, maybe the local police or hire a private detctive or go to public forums like Craigslist or Yahoo Answers and hold on…wait…why don’t you call GoDaddy’s 24 hour support line which is at the top of their site 480-505-8877
Did you pay for hosting too? You can have a domain name, but if you don’t have anywhere to put your website, you don’t really have much but a name. First, make sure you paid for web hosting. Second, GoDaddy sometimes takes a lilttle time to get your hosting package up and ready for set-up, so you may just need to be patient. Third, if you did pay for hosting and the delay has been too long, call them. They are really nice people and resolve problems quickly.
I’m not sure what you have going on. You would have to include a bit more information.
As for home business on line, please read the resource below.
