I Want To Set Up An E-mail Server So That Me Workers Can Have Their Own E-mail?

Well, I looked everywhere. I need to simplest solution that will also not be the most expensive. I want all of my workers to have their own e-mail accounts so that they can get e-mails on their PDA’s. For ex. bob@bobsmaintenance.com. Something like that. I already tried to go through GoDaddy.com and that only created havoc. I want to do this in the most simplest way. Im not the best with computers, but I do know a lot. Just not this unfortunately. Thanks if you can help.

You can give hMailServer a try, it’s free open source software built for Windows.
It runs IMAP, SMTP and POP3http://www.hmailserver.com/

    look at clarkconnect.com
they offer both home, and enterprise solution. the home and enterprise forums are excellent, and full of answers.
I use the product at home for just an internet gateway. I know i have the option to set up an email server using squid. However i have not configured that option. I can say that the software is excellent, very easy to get up and running. And will run on most boxes no matter how old or how low the specs are.
You do need two quality ethernet cards. I will recommend either intel or 3com, because they offer native linux support. They are pricer than a d-link or netgear cards. however they will work straight out of the box, without a hitch. That is good value for money in my opinion

First thing you need is a domain name(for example u need to buy bobsmaintenance.com from any ISP provider). Then usually the ISP provider will give u a mail server aswell. ISP provider will also give u a unique username/password to their website so that u can manage domain name and email addresses. There are some cheap providers
So U need 1. Domain Name and 2. Email hosting
I just looked up one for you and sound cheap to me

If you need web hosting and if you want to outsource you can always use http://www.hsit.com.au/ I am doing this for a flat fee and as a part time work
    Good Luck
