Find out if Yahoo will let you have multiple domains before you check out GoDaddy. I’m not sure how to transfer the DNS entry from GoDaddy to Yahoo.

A simple way would be to purchase the domain from godaddy then take advantage of their “free forwarding” feature. You would probably want to use “masked” forwarding.
    From godaddy website:
Masking works with domain name forwarding, which redirects all Web traffic for a domain to a specified URL. When someone enters your domain name into a browser, our system automatically forwards or redirects them to the URL. However, with masking, the domain name displayed in the address bar does not change.
Forwarding with Masking prevents visitors from knowing that they have been redirected by retaining your domain name in their Web browser’s address bar. You can also add a title and meta tags to your masked domain. Title and meta tag information is important to a Web site’s search engine ranking, but it does not change the look of your Web site.

I’m not specifically familiar with goDaddy’s control panel (I’m registered elsewhere) but it’s almost always the same everywhere: go to goDaddy’s control panel. Go register the dns names for the domain (johnbarefield.com) to point to your yahoo host site (like whatever yahoo gave you when you signed up with them – they gave you the information in an email!) It’ll take up to 48 hours for you to be able to type johnbarefield.com and have the results come up pointing to the files on your yahoo host! Need further details?
