I was just wondering if it was possible to use a domain name that I may have (need to find out if I still have it.) for a website, of which I was thinking about using GoDaddy to make and host it (Ive heard good things about them, if you have heard otherwie, please post it!).
Thanks and have a nice day!

Yes, you can use the existing domain name with any new host. You just need to log in to your domain’s control panel and enter your new host’s name servers.
For hosting I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/
Powweb is on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.
Godaddy doesn’t offer a free domain, but you can get one for $2.19 if you’re buying hosting from them, plus they also have a 20% discount coupon at the moment.
Have you ever thought about just opening up your own webhosting company?
You should take a look at StartYourServer.com Reseller Hosting. Here are their plans:

I personally use GoDaddy, I absolutely love them, they have excellent customer support, who I have called a few times and emailed several times, as the whole web hosing and domain thing was new to me at the time, go straight to them here http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-3323054-103… and look again, because to me they are by far the best of the best.
Yes you can. You might have to transfer the domain name, but as long as you have access to the domain, you CAN forward it to a website.
Also try PapaTiger.com. They are GoDaddy business partner with the same products, customer support, but lower prices. http://www.papatiger.com
If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.
As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
