What I’ve been hearing from friends is that GoDaddy is not very user friendly at all. I’ve also heard bad things about Host4Half. Since I don’t want my host to give me a horror story, I’m being extra cautious before choosing which one to work with. I’m hearing good reviews from a friend about PowWeb, but that was years ago when he used them as a host.
Would anyone else mind recommending something? There are too many to choose from and all of them give the same promises. I want a user-friendly host that will allow me to easily load up my sites, update and expand them and will provide 24-hour service and hopefully will never fail and shut down the site for hours or days.
The only bad stories I saw for PowWeb were from 3 years ago. Have these problems been resolved? What do you guys think?

P.S. All of those hosting companies have hundreds of thousands of customers, so problems do occur from time to time on some of their servers, but it’s mostly unnoticeable. They all work hard on providing 99.99% uptime and they’re all pretty good.
