i have successfully connected to godaddy ftp on my dreamweaver. and upload the images files to my ftp. but my website doesnt show. my dreamweaver file is named as index

first do away with using dreamweaver as a uploader use a ftp client. second remove there own index aka home file. use your own and direct it to your site if your site is in a folder direct it to the folder. here’s a folder example.
http://whatever your domain is.whatever you used net,com,org,info/folder name/index.whatever your site language is html,htm,php,asp
if you didn’t use a folder then just type http://whatever again you used as a doamin name/index.whatever the file is saved as html,htm,php,asp
I work on my schools website and we have a seperate folder in the ftp for images with a www folder where we put the pages. Idk if this is godaddy or what not but thats what I know
