I tried to just upload the index.html as a file and it won’t let me. It only lets you do images (like .jpg files). I also tried to pick the most simple template and enter in my code in the one of the spots and delete the other areas, but it won’t do that either. HELP!
BTW – I have a free website tonight account. I wonder if that makes a difference.

Website Tonight is a template based site builder so it will not allow you to upload your own custom webpages that you have created outside of WST. If you wanted to use your own webpages, then I would suggest setting up a regular hosting account instead. If you’re using the free WST account that came with your domain name, you also have the ability to setup a free hosting account too. But you first need to cancel the free WST account that you setup. Go Daddy will not allow you to have both free services setup on the domain name at the same time. After the WST account has been removed, you should be able to setup your free hosting account on that domain name. You can then upload your website files via FTP to their shared servers.
Most “Free” websites put their ads on your page. You cannot bypass their templates. If you want control you will have to pay.
