Most "Free" websites put their ads on your page. You cannot bypass their templates. If you want control you will have to pay.

Website Tonight is a template based site builder so it will not allow you to upload your own custom webpages that you have created outside of WST. If you wanted to use your own webpages, then I would suggest setting up a regular hosting account instead. If you're using the free WST account that came with your domain name, you also have the ability to setup a free hosting account too. But you first need to cancel the free WST account that you setup. Go Daddy will not allow you to have both free services setup on the domain name at the same time. After the WST account has been removed, you should be able to setup your free hosting account on that domain name. You can then upload your website files via FTP to their shared servers.
